Steve Kaufman grew up in Louisville and graduated from St. Xavier High School. He went on to attend Bellarmine College and graduated with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. His activities include coaching basketball and baseball at the high school and collegiate level. He has also served as President of the local chapter of NARPM (The National Association of Residential Property Managers).

With his wife Kristina and his beautiful two year old Olivia, he resides in the Louisville area.
